Custom Cabinet Construction: Two Ways
At Dun-Rite, we custom-build your cabinets in our facility, to the specific size that you require. We offer the classic wood-constructed cabinet, or our more custom option made exclusively for our Duraline® projects.
Classic Custom Wooden Cabinets:
Our wood cabinets are ¾” maple real wood cabinet boxes, with ¾” solid wood face frames on the front of your cabinets. The boxes are routed, glued and pocket screwed together, so there are no visible fasteners. Doing it this way requires no fillers, so all the cabinet space is usable. We use fully integrated steel adjustable shelf brackets as well. Lastly, our custom cabinet maker will create the door and any new drawer fronts.
Duraline® Cabinets:
For our thermofoil Duraline® projects we do it a little differently. The cabinets are constructed from ½” furniture board, with a ¾” poplar face frame. It is then clad with the ¼” thermofoil material that you’ve chosen. Again, there are no fillers because the cabinets are made to fit your opening. These are a perfect option for laundry rooms, kitchen, and bathroom cabinets. Cabinet hardware and kitchen accessories:
